I am so thoroughly disgusted by AIG.  Everyone there (and everyone else in finance and banking) getting an ill-gotten or taxpayer-paid bonus should be publicly named, with their names and pictures run in the newspapers.  Let’s see then how many of them will shamelessly keep their bonuses or ‘retention payments’.  Nice euphemism.  Retention payment my ass.  The bottom line is that jobs in that sector are shrinking, so I say let ‘em go.  Why should the people who got us into this mess be rewarded?  And if there are less positions in that sector to go around, if everyone had to start from scratch, then surely only those who really did perform well would be hired.

What a travesty!
